Lirune Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Lirune (“the app”) is a music player that plays audio files stored on your device. This policy explains what information the app handles.

1. Information the app handles on your device

The app reads the music files in the folders you choose, including their tags (title, artist, album, lyrics, etc.). It also stores your playlists, favorites, play counts, search history, edited lyrics and settings. All of this stays on your device. It is not sent to the developer or to any server, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.

2. Permissions

• Folder access: only the folders you select, used to find and play your music.
• Notifications: playback controls, lyrics, and volume-analysis progress.
• Foreground service: to keep playing music and analyzing volume while the app is in the background.
• Internet: only to show advertisements (see below).

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows banner ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device’s advertising ID, IP address (approximate location), device information, and ad interactions. This is handled by Google under its own policies:

• Google Privacy Policy
• How Google uses information from apps that use its services

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from Menu → “Privacy settings”. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

4. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

5. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
